at the end of each nine weeks. Two Early Release conferences are scheduled with
parents during the school year:

Primary (K- 1)

Students are promoted to a higher grade based on their mastery of grade level,
academic, knowledge, and skills (AKS). Students who are experiencing difficulty
on their grade level's AKS will be placed on an Academic Contract that will
identify what the school, parent, and child will do to help the student
succeed. Any child unable to be reasonably successful in the next grade level
will be retained in the current grade. 4th grade students must demonstrate
proficiency on the Gateway and CRCT for promotion. 5th grade students must
demonstrate proficiency on the writing assignment for promotion.
