The clinic is run by a trained adult and NOT a registered nurse. First Aid will
be administered in the clinic, but medication can only be given if instructions
and a signed, dated note from the physician or parent accompany the medication;
whether it be aspirin or a doctor's prescription. No child is to carry
medication on his/her person. All medication must be housed in the clinic.
Parents will be called if students are too sick to remain in school, have been
seriously injured, or are running a temperature of 99.6 degrees or more. When
your child is ill, not up to par, or running a temperature, please do not send
him/her to school and chance infecting others. It is important to keep your
child at home if he/she is sick. It is critical that the school have current
phone numbers in the event of an emergency.
